arkerah and Jobscan compared
Jobscan checks your resume against a job you have found, scores the match and helps you rewrite it for the employer's applicant tracking system. arkerah finds the jobs first: it ranks corporate jobs in five European countries against what you tell it, removes the ones you could not take, and writes a CV for each. Jobscan has a free plan with five scans a month; arkerah is free.
What do arkerah and Jobscan have in common?
Less than the names suggest. Both read a job advert and help you shape your CV for it, and both have a free way in. Beyond that they start from opposite ends: Jobscan from a job you bring, arkerah from you.
Where do they differ?
| What differs | arkerah | Jobscan |
|---|---|---|
| Where it starts | A conversation about you, by voice or text, and your CV if you have one | Your resume and a job description you bring |
| Which jobs | Corporate desk roles in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain, ranked for you | Any job you bring. Its paid plans add AI Job Match, and its home page offers jobs matched to your resume without saying which countries |
| Jobs you could not take | Removed by your own filters, such as the languages you read and your level, and Why not lists each one with the filter behind it | Not described on its site |
| A score for your CV | No. Your list is ranked, but your CV is not graded | Yes: a match rate against the job, keyword comparisons and findings about applicant tracking systems |
| CV per job | Yes, a Word file, built only from your own facts; anything removed is shown with the reason | Yes, with rewrites, a bullet point generator and a resume builder |
| Cover letters, LinkedIn profile, interview practice, tracker | No | Yes; interview practice is paid for separately |
| Applying for you | No. You get the link to the advert | Auto Apply, which it says you review before each application is sent; paid plans include two credits a month |
| Use it from Claude or another AI assistant | Yes, through our MCP server | Not mentioned on its site |
| Price | Free while in early access | Free plan with five scans a month; Premium $49.95 a month, or $89.95 every three months after a 7 day free trial |
Where is Jobscan ahead?
- It goes deep on one CV for one job: a match rate, the keywords you are missing, and what an applicant tracking system will make of the file. arkerah does not score your CV at all.
- It covers more of the application: cover letters, a LinkedIn optimiser, interview practice, a job tracker and thank you notes, none of which arkerah has.
- It works on any job you can paste, in any country. arkerah ranks only the corporate jobs it reads in five countries.
- It can send applications for you, with Auto Apply. arkerah never applies for you.
Where is arkerah different?
- It finds the jobs. You do not need a job description to start; you need to tell it about yourself, and it ranks what is open against that.
- It removes the jobs you could not take, and says which and why. A job that needs a language you do not read is not ranked lower; it is out of your list, with the reason a click away.
- What it knows about you is visible. You can open every fact, correct it, export it or delete it, and the next ranking and the next CV use the corrected version.
- It works from Claude and other AI assistants that speak MCP, so you can ask about your list where you already work.
Which one should you use?
If you have already found the job and want your CV through the employer's screening software, Jobscan is built for exactly that. If you have not found it yet, and want a short list of corporate roles in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany or Spain that you could actually take, with a CV for each built only from what you told us, start with arkerah. The two fit together: find the job with arkerah, then check the CV with Jobscan.
Questions
Is arkerah free?
Yes, while we are in early access. If a paid tier comes later, you will hear about it first, and nothing you already have will be taken away.
Does arkerah give my CV an ATS score?
No. arkerah writes the CV as a Word file from your own facts and does not grade it. If you want a score against an applicant tracking system, that is what Jobscan is for.
Where does this comparison come from?
Jobscan's own home and plan pages, read on 15 October 2026, and arkerah's own product. If anything about Jobscan has changed since, its site is the authority.
